VeeMed began with a spark of inspiration that brought together three forward-thinking men: a U.S. board-certified intensivist, a Duke and USC alumnus and technology entrepreneur, and a seasoned telemedicine evangelist. Meeting in far-flung corners of the globe from Silicon Valley, California to Wuhan, China to Dubai, UAE – their common vision ignited a resolve to create a next-generation turnkey telemedicine solution. The founding of VeeMed in 2016 – only a year after two of the founders were recognized for innovation by President Barack Obama – represented the coalescence of groundbreaking technology, deep clinical expertise, and operational excellence.
VeeMed’s management team are both visionaries and pragmatists. They, along with the rest of the team, are working tirelessly to actualize the promise of telemedicine while delivering world-class technology and services to healthcare facilities.
